Queen en Live Aid. – World – Rooms

Fue en 1985, un 13 de julio. El festival Live Aid, formado por dos conciertos en Wembley (Londres) y en el estadio J.F.K (Filadelfia), pretendía recaudar fondos para ayudas a algunos países africanos.

Este concierto en Wembley contó con los más importantes músicos y bandas de la época, por nombrar a unos pocos: Queen, Elton John, Bob Dylan, George Michael, Madonna, U2, Keith Richards, Duran Duran, Black Sabath, The Who, Paul McCartney... en fin, lo mejor de lo mejor de la época.

Las condiciones del concierto eran sencillas, cada grupo disponía de 20 minutos para hacer música en directo, sin prueba de sonido previa, lo que representaba un riesgo, sin duda alguna.

Cabe destacar la actuación de la banda Queen, que ha sido calificada como una de sus mejores actuaciones en directo de su historia. Un año más tarde, Queen llenó Wembley dos noches consecutivas en otro mítico concierto. Estaban en plena forma, en lo mejor de su carrera.
